New Plans for South Perth Foreshore!
An exciting plan to develop the South Perth foreshore into a world-class attraction is in the process! Plans are underway to ‘bring it back to life’ with a re-excavation of a lagoon, restaurants, a museum, boat moorings and a bridge to Kings Park.
This includes:
- Restoration of the Millers Pool from the 1950’s close to its original shape and reopened to the Swan River
- Riverfront restaurant overhanging the lagoon
- Pedestrian bridge to Kings Park
- Restoration of black swan habitats
With so much to see and do and the proposed opening of new boat moorings and possibly a new jetty, South Perth’s foreshore will yet be another brilliant location on the Swan River to begin your boat cruise.
We look forward to the opportunities this will bring to broaden access to the Swan River and provide exciting new facilities for the boating industry and community in Perth.
